Monday, May 02, 2011 I'm really such a couch potato. Before the exams ended, I was planning on how to make my 2 weeks term break a fruitful one. I dreamt of exercising daily, reading, cleaning up the house and even wanted to wander to some off-beaten cafe and slacked the day away. Like I said, I dreamt. 1 week down and soon I'll start school again. Of which I am sure, Singapore would have undergone a significant change. Because everyone gets to vote on May 7th, except me! All the GRCs (except mine - Tanjong Pagar GRC) and SMCs are being contested by the opposition parties this year, so I guess, once again, a walkover for MM Lee's strong fortress. Not like the opposition had a chance in my GRC, anyways. I mean, what can you offer me? I have MRT stations, bus interchanges, good bus routes, good schools, libraries, shopping centres and ORCHARD ROAD. So uh, unless you can offer me something better like 4D winning numbers, I think you should save that $80,000 election deposit. So I went for my first political rally in my 23 years of life. Although I was not entitled to vote this time round, I really wanted to hear from the politicians and their plans. Aljunied GRC is a hotly contested one and I decided to go for Workers' Party Rally and boy, the crowd was massive. But I do not want to talk about politics, shall leave for another post, after I gather my thoughts about the whole election fever. HAHA.    -heart melts- How can he smile like that? Not to mention, Kim Hyun Jong, the male lead is handsome. wait scratch that, handsome is an understatement. He is just, perfect. Nevermind the plastic surgery. Maybe end of this year, I should make a trip to Korea instead of Beijing. Or maybe, I should start to pick up the Korean language instead.... |
