Friday, April 08, 2011 I never saw the need to install Skype. I do not have a boyfriend who is residing overseas and neither am I residing overseas. When I was studying in China, it did crossed my mind to have Skype. I even went to buy a webcam because back then, not all laptops came equipped with one. Alas, it was left to rot and die because, I simply had no one to Skype with. My family aint the kind to talk to me everyday. In fact, my 128 days in China, never did we once had a proper phone convo with my mother or brother asking me about China's life. My mother, who is a secretary, actually sent me a formal email (she even signed off as "Yours Sincerely, Mum"!)to ask about me. My brother prayed very hard for me to stay there forever. So yes, Skype.  Sydney at night. Can't wait to go there next year!  But I am thankful and happy for the things that was shared across that 2 hours odd of video-conversing. Though Gab will never see this, I am thankful for a friend like him. Because he reminds me that not all good-looking guys are arseholes. HAHA. Okay, girls, you may take a number and wait in line but you might have to jostle with Rugby, Basketball and Fishing among other sports for his time and love. Gab is a busy man who has thing for fishes. I have no idea why, but maybe I will a year from now when I head off to Aussie. -grins-  Though we may not chat often but each chat is always fruitful and insightful. Thank you for the stamp of faith for me and being the observant you, noticing the positive changes in me. Enjoy dating Rugby and Fishing, most importantly, enjoy the time and life God has given to you in Sydney, away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore. :) |
