Wednesday, September 01, 2010  A candid shot of Yao...looking a virginal blushing boy amidst all the joy. You know, as much as I would go all out to defend my decision in withdrawing from NTU, there is still this part of me that is filled with insecurity about my choice and a tiny voice, periodically questioning me. When I was on the train home, I felt very cumbersome with my huge-ass bag and carrying 2 A4 files worth of notes that I had just collected. The files had "SMa" splashed across and somehow I felt a little shy when I noticed people staring at my noob self. I bet the first thought that crossed their mind was this.."This girl is at SMa, private school. Confirmed is cannot enter local uni."  It's sad that that is how the society judge those who go on the path less trodden and I am not trying to be a purist here because lao niang here, also had the same thought crossing my mind when I see others. -sheepish- But then again.. 错过是为了遇见对的 - Missing out on an opportunity is to have the chance to meet the right one. So... To hell with all my insecurities! To hell with those who have their noses in the air and see us no up! When I graduate and become the CEO of some MNCs, I will make you eat my snot! |
