ten years
Monday, July 26, 2010  i am a moron. there was no flashing bulbs, no crazy fans, nobody at all. it was just me, Jay Chou and 12 of his burly-looking bodyguards/minders at 1 am at Flyer. And all i could say was just THREE pathetic syllabus - ZHOU JIE LUN after being in a unbelievable trance-like state for three seconds.  "ZHOU JIE LUN!", i managed to utter. In the dark of the night, those three words seemed loud. He turned back, looked me in the eye, smiled, mouthed a monosyllable and did a quick wave. And then he was ushered to his car. I must have looked like a moron. seriously, after 10 years of idolising him and practically knowing all the lyrics to his ten albums, when I finally met him on this pure coincidence with NO ONE AROUND, the best i could do was to stare and call him by his name. I AM AN IDIOT. it will probably take another ten years and a few more bad dumps before i accumulate enough karma points to meet him again. seriously Annabel Lim, you could have done better than just calling his name out. -slaps forehead- |
