4 years of squatting
Thursday, May 27, 2010  why is it so important to get a degree in this silly society? why is it that after slogging for 3 pathetic years in polytechnic and paying $5000 worth of school fees, I still have to be contented to get a job that pays me at best $1600 a month and at the end of the day, i need to vomit out tens of thousands to get another A4 800gsm paper that says I have obtained a Bachelor in some Crap? Why is it that the whole world lambast me for giving up on a local uni degree? I am going in to squat for 4 years while my bank account bleed dry. And after squating for 4 years, the A4 paper might not even guarantee me a stable pay, much less a hot boss who adores me or an office full of hunks who are dying to be with me. So yes, do i REALLY want to be an expired fresh grad at 27 years old? For the love of mankind, take it that i am insane or what, I just have this penchant for taking this unorthodox academic route.
