for a moment i thought it was a painting by my bro. the age's pretty similar too.HAHA
I have shifted. My new humble abode lies at 1 Old Parliament Lane, The Arts House Annex Building, Level 2. My kitchen is at Timbre@The Arts House or the Earshot Cafe.
I travel so often to Raffles Place/City Hall and have my ass rooted to my chair so long that I am having thoughts of buying a hammock and have it hung in the pantry so we can all rest as we toil for Singapore Writers Festival, Asia On The Edge 2009, Jeremy Monteiro and my baby Story Saloon.
I think it'll be pretty cool to stay in my office 24/7. That way I can stay contactable to all my clients and they can find me 24/7.
Need me at 8am to turn on air-con? No problem. Need me at 11pm to check venue system? Sure. Need me at 7am for ladder? My pleasure.
They need not send me an email about the same issue every single hour and get all panicky when I do not reply their emails one second after they send it to me. and of course, I can "jaga" the House too. We can save money on uber "cute" security guards who shake their head and go "Not I do one! I new today!" when all I did was to pick up a broken easel stand and look at him for help. -faints-
So yes, I'll buy a hammock and sleep in my office. My mum can save the money on buying a new bed for me and spend it on her Korean DVDs. I'm great, aren't I? -laughs-
