Rule #1

Annabel twenty five and full of life. Oscar Wilde taught her that she can resist everything, except temptation.

Initially I had wanted to blog about my 4 days in HK but due to unforseen circumstances (read: MY ACER LAPPIE DECIDED TO DIE ON ME AGAIN), thus I am left with no personal laptop for me to do my stuff and time is an issue. I needed to beg and borrow my bro's computer to check my mails and play Facebook. So rather that I bore you with my jolly good time in Hong Kong over numerous posts, I shall just do a little excerpt.
Pardon me if I make you feel like quitting your job/cut classes and fly to Hong Kong now.
Hong Kong is da bomb.
They should just grant me Permanent Residency.
-twinkles-

The HK MTR lines are as complicated as Mathematics is to me. Our Singapore only has like 7 lines? HK outdid us by having 11, excluding KCR railway lines. Somehow, I prefer our MRT to their MTR. Their MTR move at such high speed that i kept getting my ears popped and there wasnt much scenery to see as it was all underground. The only thing that piqued my interest during these MTR rides was stalking the people around me. -guffaws-
What I saw on the train:
#1: Handsome Ang-moh.

Good-looking enough to make up for my loss of not able to kidnap/stalk Raymond Lam in HK.
Tall, dark, brooding good looks.
Deep-set almond eyes.
Gosh, he is yummy enough to be eaten.
-sings "i'm a man-eater"-

#2: Funny Girl
She appeared out of nowhere when we were on the train to Tung Chung.
She came.
She sat next to this guy.
She stared at his DS.
We giggled.
She sat next to me.
I stared at her.
I said hello.
She froze.
I scared her.
-chuckles-

#3: Hungry Boy
We all break the "No Food and Drinks in the Train" rule at some point in our life. You'll be lying if you said you never, you are not even supposed to drink from your water bottle! But this secondary school boy tops the list of rules-breaker.

He was eating Mac's ice-cream cone during his entire ride.
I am impressed.
How on earth did he got pass the gantry checks!

Second day loot.
-rubs hands in glee-

Third day's loot.

happily broke.

Shopping at HK is the best.
I love H&M so much that it is my happy pill.
Everytime I pass by H&M, I would turn to Jess and she would know I am DYING to go in. Even if i come out empty-handed, I'll be as gay as a lark. The air in H&M is just pure different. They probably did a hex on me because I dunno why on earth am i so mesmerized that i bought near to 700HKD worth of stuff inside.

With brands everywhere, HK is the melting pot for most international fashion groups. I went to Times Square at Causeway Bay with the purpose of finding Fred Perry with Jess and also to check out Kate Spade for Vanessa. Fred Perry's sales people were uber nice. Despite us being in the shop for like light years and finally settled on the design/colour/shoe we wanted. The sales people at Kate Spade can just bang wall and die. They have noses high up in the sky that I think God can touch them and will want to twist it off.

I wouldnt mind if you see me no up because of my lack of branded goods over me but must you look us up down left right, and only greet us "Welcome" when you saw the Fred Perry paper hanging on Jess' arms?

The guys over at agnes b was way better. He offered me to try on their watches and get me stuff i wanted to see. Too bad i saw nothing to my liking if not i sure am glad to burn a hole in my pocket. Since we couldnt afford to buy agnes b accessories/clothes, we settled at agnes b cafe and enjoyed sipping tai-tai coffee and nibbling cakes and then spend 300HKD buying agnes b chocolates. -grins-

And I had a jolly time at LKF's FONG.
Despite being in a wrong crowd, karma for crashing a private party, we managed to find a comfy corner with sofa and fried snacks and just slacked there. I think we were exhausted from the 3 days of shopping that neither of us went high or dance, we simply sat there, camwhored, rest and chatted.

Hong Kong was and is amazing.
I was supposed to go there and unwind.
I came back unwound and penniless.
Happily broke would be a great description.
But oh wells.
It's my 21st present to myself anyways.
heh heh
